The room was clean, but the shower lacked proper water pressure.

Conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the center of Symonds Yat, perfect for those who want to explore without the hassle of driving. The hotel features inviting gardens that add a nice touch to the overall atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot to relax after a day out.
Upon entering my room, an unpleasant odor lingered, likely coming from outside drains. The decor felt outdated, and the shower left much to be desired in terms of water pressure. the louvre doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom lacked any privacy, making it feel like sharing the same space even when closed. The mattress topper caused uncomfortable rolling towards the edges, compromising sleep quality, particularly in the small bed.

We stayed in a lovely family room that was clean and had a great view of the gardens, complete with a weeping willow. Relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the well-kept garden made our trip extra special. The shower could use a little upgrade, but honestly, it didn't take away from a great experience overall. 🌷

The Double Room we stayed in for two nights was clean and comfy. The bed was super cozy, which made for a great night's sleep. There were nice tea and coffee facilities, and we had a lovely view of the gardens. Only downside was the mattress could use an upgrade. it felt a bit hard. pretty solid stay!
